Book Description
March 2020 marks the 80th anniversary of the death of the most photographed physical medium, Jack Webber. He was not 33 years old when he died, a few days after an act of kindness to a stranger on a train. This is an important piece of Physical Mediumship history. Never before has the story been told in detail of the years leading up to the last 16 months of his life, so well publicised by Harry Edwards in his book, "The Mediumship of Jack Webber". Here there are records from family papers, reports from the Psychic Press of seances, a challenge of fraud and reports by eminent researchers and other mediums. Many infra-red photographs showing the ectoplasmic phenomena not considered good enough for inclusion in Harry Edwards' original book are included here as well as uncropped versions of others showing the sitters in the séances at the time the phenomena occurred. The author, his nephew, also writes of events after Jack Webber's passing in March 1940, never before revealed. With 59 illustrations within the pages we see into the séance rooms, get to know the family and the hardships following the medium's death.

Book Description
Claimants of paranormal abilities have always attracted controversy and fascination, and sometimes rigorous study by scientists. Charles Bailey, an Australian medium, was seemingly able to materialize different objects—animate and inanimate—under conditions which made it difficult to conceive how they could have been normally produced. Sumitra Singh, a woman of Northern India who in 1984 became subject to epileptic-type seizures, claimed to be possessed by spirits of the dead. Franck Kluski was a Polish poet, banker and physical medium who specialized in both human and animal materializations. This biographical dictionary contains profiles of 330 psychics worldwide from Tony Agpaoa to Elenor Zugun, each accompanied by a bibliography listing the primary sources consulted. The primary focus is on those claimed psychics who have figured prominently in the history of the subject, though some lesser-known figures are included to show how rich, varied, and colorful that history has been. The aim throughout is to present each case as fairly and dispassionately as the facts allow, with a particular eye for accuracy in details and presentation. The approach is historical, not apologetic or accusatory, making the work ideally suited as a permanent reference.

Book Description
The Phenomena of Materialisation: This book describes the work and personal experience of a distinguished, highly qualified researcher into this miss-understood phenomenon. Plenty of photos and laboratory reports are included to make this subject more understandable. Further, the area of fraud is dealt with extensively. When extraordinary things are observed, each eye-witness account assumes importance. Sometimes one witness will fill a gap in his story of events that others have left out. Each person has his own story to tell and this is mine. It is not meant to discredit or negate the observations of others. Other investigators had included doctors and scientists. That impressed me from the beginning. Surgeons from Baragwanath Hospital, Johannesburg, discussed their experiences nonchalantly and openly, comparing events with those described by their friends — anaesthetists, doctors and businessmen. It was plain that they were not only technically skilled men of the world, but also orientated towards the esoteric sciences as well. One would quote an excerpt from "At The Feet Of The Master" and another would answer with a reference to "The Voice Of The Silence". There was no hysteria, no anxiety to impress — all had participated in (rather than observed) materialisation seances, and all held a deep respect for the phenomena that their expert hands had palpated and their trained eyes had seen. And I was one of them. Later, I had opportunities to confirm my first impressions again and again elsewhere in different parts of the globe, as well as to hear the views and opinions expressed by scores of other observers and to examine carefully the evidence of their photographs and testimonies. Some of my own conclusions are more occult or esoteric than those of spiritualists, but they are just as sincere and well intended. The part played by the thousands of sitters at materialisation seances is indispensable. In most instances their patient devotion made phenomena possible. To them I dedicate this book.

Book Description
"When I finished reading this book, all I could say was WOW! What a stunning piece of literary work... It is concise, brilliantly written, backed by scientific findings, with clear human logic and intelligence. If this doesn't awaken the masses to delve into who and what they truly are, I can't imagine what will." ~ Jerry Issa, teacher of metaphysics, Trenton, Michigan This book will change your life if you let it. If we are accidental beings on a remote planet in a vast universe, existing for merely a blip in cosmic time, what's the point of living at all? Until we learn life is too significant to be a short-lived brilliance that rises out of nothing and ends in nothing, we will continue to live out our lives in, what Thoreau saw as, quiet desperation. We sense the materialistic wall when we ask the question, "Is that all there is?" Without resorting to miracles or magic, this book provides compelling evidence of life beyond the physical world by logically investigating the limitations of matter in the universe, by examining the gaps in scientific theories and by analyzing what the mystics already know about a spiritual existence. It takes a dedicated seeker with no preconceived ideas and no intent on arriving to see beyond the materialistic wall. This book is intended to expand your awareness of life here and hereafter, hopefully providing the spark that will start you on your own personal pilgrimage. The mystics tell us we will be guided to the next step along our spiritual path when we are ready. Are you ready? AWARENESS: The following might be the thoughts of those at different levels of awareness as they walk through a rose garden. I want - I wonder how much I could get for these roses. I believe - God created roses when He created the world and everything in it. I doubt - Roses evolved from wild flowering shrubs, but most garden varieties are hybrids. I seek - How could anything as beautiful as a rose happen purely by chance? I know - Roses, like all life on Earth, are physical manifestations of spirit.
